Covers - and the stories behind
Løbemagasinet issue 09, August 2009During the Copenhagen Marathon 2009 I bicycled around town to catch the runners at my favourites locations. Totally I had five places where I shot the leading runners, and then went in towards the finish line. But before I got that far, I stood in pouring rain at the Østerport Station Bridge and waited for the first female runner. Chihiro Tanaka (Japan) ran towards me in good speed and I started shooting from a low angle. The shot is pretty basic, but I like her angry and concentrated look (the rain or fatique or a combination?) straight into the camera.

With all respect; Businessmen can be hard to photograph if you want to do something a little bit different. In this case, it was no problem! Mr. Tim Vang actually wore the designer-painted suit, and the beanbag was already in the office. It was just a question of combining elements. Great colors!

During an exploration of the possibilities of urban climbing (climbing on sculptures and buildings), I had often thought about the elephants at the famous Carlsberg-gate (original site of the brewery in Copenhagen). One fine evening some friends joined me for a climb, and I got several nice shoots. This photo has been published in both Spain and USA, and shows a climber getting ready to jump for the next hold (top of the ear)!
