The gear I use

This is how Lowepro describes the street & field vest:
Made with extra-wide padded shoulders and breathable mesh for comfort, the S&F Vest Harness has ten attachment loops plus inner mesh pockets. Add this to the S&F Deluxe Waistbelt to provide maximum carrying capacity for SlipLock add-ons and support for larger equipment cases.

I use the vest with different combinations of Sliplock cases. When shooting the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge I had a bottle case (very needed!), and a lenscase for the Sigma fisheye, a practical utility bag for snacks and food, another utility bag for CF-cards, cellphone, passport and money and a lenscase for a 70-200. I always use it with the Lowepro Deluxe Waistbelt which I feel fits perfect. I can run, jump and lie down without any problems and without fear of loosing equipment. Especially when moving fast from location to location, shooting reportage like adventure racing it is extremely useful, because I ALLWAYS have my gear with me. At one point covering the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge, I literally needed to jump out of the car and run a few miles through the desert in order to catch up with a team and get the shots. In a situation like that most other photographers just take their camera and run for it - So do I, but with two more lenses, snacks and water (I stayed out there for several hours!)
